Fishing Keansburg
The northern shore of Raritan Bay near Keansburg offers accessible shoreline fishing and boat ramp access to the open bay. Stripers move through this part of the bay in spring heading toward the rivers and in fall heading south. Bluefish are reliable here in summer and the deeper water just off the flats holds fish later into the fall season. A good option when you want open bay access without fighting the crowds at the more well known spots along the shore.
